Celebrations took place today in St. Dympna’s Day Services Portumna to acknowledge Enda Brien’s outstanding achievement of receiving his gold GAISCE Award from President Michael D Higgins in Dublin yesterday. For the celebrations Enda was joined by the staff that have been his keyworkers since he commenced with St. Dympna’s day services. A big thank you to these people for the support and enthusiasm to Enda that helped him realise his dream of a gold GAISCE. They are Kim Walsh, Paula Tuohy, Janet Hoary, Noelene Lillis and Margaret Dynan (Irene Gaffey also supported him on his journey but is no longer working with us). Many congratulations to Enda and his family, we are so proud. Enda everyone in Ability West is so proud of you! Well done!!!
