BOHERMORE CAFE CELEBRATES 1ST BIRTHDAY!

The Bohermore Community Café celebrated one year in operation in February!

The Bohermore Community Café, commenced operations in early 2024 as part of a Community Inclusion Initiative with Bohermore Community Centre.  The café operated by Snipe Service is having a significant impact on people with intellectual disabilities and the wider community.

 The café offers hands-on training in customer service and food preparation for the Snipe persons supported and these experiences and involvement significantly boosts their self-esteem and confidence. They also get to regularly interact with community members who visit the café.

The Birthday celebration was attended by a large number of the Bohermore Community and the team had a really enjoyable day. Well done to everyone involved!
