Disability Legal Information Clinic

Disability Legal Information Clinic returns for the 2016/2017 academic year on Wednesday 5th October at 6pm.

What we do?
We provide a free, accessible and confidential legal information service to people with disabilities. The service is provided by trained volunteers (law students) who are supervised by a legal practitioner. Past queries have covered topics such as housing law, social service provision, employment law, medical negligence or personal injuries, education and equality law.

We also provide a research resource. This resource works on the basis that legal practitioners, social workers, disability service providers etc. can contact the clinic and that trained volunteers will provide practical legal research on the issues that they highlight.

When and Where?
First Wednesday of every month from 6pm until 7.30pm in the Centre for Disability Law and Policy (CDLP), Institute for Lifecourse and Society, NUI Galway.

Accessibility
The CDLP is fully accessible. However, should you have any queries about physical accessibility or accessibility to the service itself, for example should you require a sign language interpreter, please do not hesitate to contact us.
