A big thank you to Marks and Spencer staff and customers for kindly supporting our bag packing weekend on Friday and Saturday, October 6th and 7th. The total raised was over €1500! The generosity from the Galway community is greatly appreciated, as always.
Special thanks to everyone who supported the fundraiser organised by the Moycullen Branch on Friday, 23rd September in The Forge, Moycullen. We are delighted to announce that over €1,100 was raised on the night! These funds are in aid of a new outdoor leisure area for Ability West’s Meitheal Centre in Moycullen.
We would especially like to thank all the local businesses, groups and individuals who contributed spot prizes for the raffle, as well as the talented musicians from Spiddal Alternative Sessions, Galway Ukulele Group and Moycullen Women's Shed.
Ability West are seeking volunteers for bag packing at Marks and Spencer Galway in Corrib Shopping Centre this Friday and Saturday, October 6th and 7th from 10am-6pm. An hour or two of your time would be greatly appreciated.
All proceeds raised for and on behalf of Ability West are used towards our ongoing capital programme which includes new builds, extensions and refurbishments of existing buildings, the purchase of essential aids, appliances, specialised equipment and minibuses.
